The Clients Goal:
As part of a full renovation of a boutique hotel along the waterfront, the existing restaurant was identified as a key weakness. The original dining space was small, outdated, and did not reflect the new identity and character of the hotel. Beyond simply serving hotel guests, the owners envisioned the restaurant as a multifunctional venue capable of supporting weddings, private events, and day-to-day dining. The challenge was to expand and redesign the space so that it matched the elevated tone of the renovation while offering the flexibility and scale required for large gatherings.
Our Solution:
Working in close collaboration with the interior design, and branding team, we created a themed dining room with character-rich finishes that establish a unique culinary identity. The design extends outdoors with a covered bar that can be used across seasons and a generous patio with direct waterfront views, offering additional seating and a flexible venue for weddings and special events. Each component from the restaurant interior to the outdoor gathering areas was carefully coordinated to operate seamlessly together, ensuring the space is equally suited for intimate dining and large celebrations. The result is a restaurant that elevates the guest experience, strengthens the hotel’s brand, and enhances its role as a destination along the waterfront.
