Our vision

To design things worth making.

Every design choice should be intentional, regardless of scale. We aspire to assist our clients in discovering these intentional design moments in their project. We achieve this by listening to the client to understand what is truly important to them. We take that understanding and use it as a tool to extract the core values of the project and bring them to realization.

Our ideas

At Making Design Studio, we recognize that the building process is becoming increasingly complex and time-consuming. Our core goal is to simplify this journey for our clients as much as possible. We believe this is best achieved through working collaboratively along side the Owner and Builder. With a focus on streamlining processes, fostering clear communication, and employing innovative design solutions.

Our people

Our design team is committed to equitable, sustainable, and healthy design, infusing every project we undertake with a deep sense of purpose and responsibility. This drives us to create spaces that promote environmental responsibility, and well-being. We see it as our responsibility as designers to shape our environment with a positive impact, making design more than just aesthetics but a catalyst for positive change and healthier living.

Our Team

  • Nick is the co-founder of Making Architecture, where he leads projects that blend design ambition with construction clarity. Since launching the firm, he has focused on delivering thoughtful, practical architecture across residential, commercial, and adaptive reuse projects in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Nick’s ability to navigate the complexities of zoning, permitting, and construction means clients benefit from a smooth and efficient design process without sacrificing creativity.

Before founding Making, Nick served as a Project Manager on several award-winning residential projects, honing a hands-on approach that bridges the gap between concept and construction. His work is rooted in the belief that good architecture improves daily life, and that strong ideas deserve equally strong execution.

He is a licensed architect in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts and holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Roger Williams University.

  • Dani is a co-founder of Making Architecture, where she brings a deep commitment to wellness-centered and sustainable design. Since launching the studio, she has played a key role in shaping its direction and voice—contributing to everything from early design concepts to branding, visual storytelling, and client experience.

Originally trained and licensed in Colombia, Dani brings an international perspective that informs her thoughtful and human-centered approach to architecture. Her passion for biophilic design and the impact of space on well-being is reflected in every phase of her work.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Universidad Santo Tomás and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree and a certification in Sustainable Design at Boston Architectural College.

  • With ten years in the design and construction field, Matt’s expertise spans from straightforward residential projects to the intricate fit-outs of advanced biomedical research labs and innovative technology offices. His meticulous eye for detail and in-depth construction knowledge ensure that even the most challenging projects are successfully completed.

Matt has committed his career to the technical side of architecture, translating sophisticated designs into reality through effective collaboration with engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.

Matt earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Architecture from Roger Williams University and is actively working towards licensure while also serving as an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Endicott College.
