At Making Design Studio, we recognize that the building process is becoming increasingly complex and time-consuming. Our core goal is to simplify this journey for our clients as much as possible. We believe this is best achieved through working collaboratively along side the Owner and Builder. With a focus on streamlining processes, fostering clear communication, and employing innovative design solutions.
Our design team is committed to equitable, sustainable, and healthy design, infusing every project we undertake with a deep sense of purpose and responsibility. This drives us to create spaces that promote environmental responsibility, and well-being. We see it as our responsibility as designers to shape our environment with a positive impact, making design more than just aesthetics but a catalyst for positive change and healthier living.
Nick, co-founder of Making Architecture, brings nearly a decade of experience in design and construction. As a registered architect licensed in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Nick is passionate about high-quality, thoughtful design that enhances everyday life.
Prior to founding Making, Nick acted as a Project Manager where his work was instrumental in several award-winning residential projects, finding the balance between the architectural vision, the functionality of the space, and the details of the construction. His hands-on approach and technical expertise allow him to bridge the gap between design and construction, bringing creative visions to life with precision and practicality.
He graduated Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Architecture from Roger Williams University in 2019. Throughout his academic career, he won multiple student design awards, developing a strong foundation in innovation and craftsmanship.
Daniela, co-founder of Making Architecture, enriches the team with her diverse architectural background. With a keen eye for detail, Daniela brings a unique perspective to every project, ensuring that each element is carefully considered to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. Her meticulous approach allows her to craft spaces that are not only visually compelling but also deeply responsive to the needs of their users.
Daniela developed a strong passion for health and wellness in the built environment, which became the foundation of her thesis on biophilic architecture. She believes that well-designed spaces should foster physical and mental well-being, incorporating natural elements and sustainable principles to create healthier environments.
She earned her Cum Laude Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universidad Santo Tomás in 2021 and holds her Architecture License in Colombia. Currently, Daniela is furthering her expertise at Boston Architectural College, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Architecture while gaining certification in Sustainable Design.
