The primary goal of this project was to create a functional kitchen addition to accommodate a young family and their growing needs for space. The new space features an open concept kitchen space, with a large central island to serve as the primary work surface as well as a space for additional dining seating. The cabinetry is biased to the two exterior walls, which centralizes the focus to the landscape of the back yard, viewed through the large picture windows over the sink.
